LA Program Manager at Florida State University
The Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) at Florida State University (FSU) is seeking a Program Manager to manage all Learning Assistant Program (LA Program) administrative and programmatic functions, including managing and implementing LA Program goals, objectives, and staffing, and interpreting University policies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Manages the coordination of faculty requests and student applications to assign LAs to appropriate courses, providing guidance to faculty and LAs throughout the recruitment and hiring process. Responsible for the formulation, implementation, and communication of policies and procedures in collaboration with the Associate Director and Director of CAT. Establishes and maintains working relationships and communicates effectively with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., CAT personnel, faculty from across colleges and departments, department and college leadership, students, HR representatives). Works within CAT to manage LA training and support programs, including online trainings and in-person programming and services (e.g., LA Orientation, LA Seminar registration for new LAs, continuing mentorship for current LAs).
